His inspirational message helps youth to realize that change is achievable by providing a process to help them overcome the barriers faced by many in todays society. Audience members will leave with a process to change and an understanding that not only is it possible but determined by their own special uniqueness.

Coach Romany knows from first hand experience that success in any field is not a linear progression, and successfully uses this knowledge to equip others. He will be the first to admit that his life has not been a fairy tale of any sort, but his vast experiences of hardships and difficulties have moulded him into the man he is today. By drawing upon his past success and mistakes he is able to bring a real and practical atmosphere to his participants while continuously growing himself.
Coach Romany is able to bring his life experiences and lessons learned along the way to share with his audiences, to help them learn from someone who has been there and done that. Prior to being an educator, Coach Romany was employed in various business sectors including the financial sector for over a dozen years. When he entered the educational system he knew it was a natural fit for his talents and purpose in life. His community involvement has allowed him to create a rapport with the local youth and communicate his message in a manner that is relatable to his audiences.
Life Experience
With over 18 years dedicated to BHNCDSB, he has honed his leadership capabilities, guiding young minds as an Elementary School Teacher and shaping future generations. In his parallel journey as a Youth Basketball Coach has enabled him to craft a unique approach to team dynamics and individual mentorship, fostering both group cohesiveness and personal development.
As a Professional Speaker, he excels in energizing audiences, leveraging my relationship building skills to connect with and inspire athletes and teens. He is committed to driving positive change through process-driven strategies, aiming to unlock the personal greatness within each individual or group he encounters.
Coach Romany is the proud father of 4 amazing young ladies, married for over 30 years to his wife Gail, and most recently promoted to Pops with the arrival of his granddaughter. Being involved in athletics from an early age playing hockey and various sports it only seemed natural that he would transfer his knowledge towards coaching.

He is a firm advocate that when the mind, body and soul are aligned, everyone can overcome the obstacles and adversity they are faced with.
